Sponsor an IDP Child

Through the ATEG “Sponsor An IDP Child” program you can improve the lives of over 500 IDP children who are living on a garbage dump in Bamako, Mali. These IDP (Internally Displaced Persons) children are lacking food security, healthcare, hygiene, sanitation and safety.

You can help by sponsoring one of these children at a monthly $25 recurring donor level. Or you can also support the relocation through a one-time donation. When you select an individual child, ATEG will enable a connection by which you can build a relationship with your child through letters and photos, and if you choose, send small gifts. All donations are pooled with other sponsors for maximum community impact.

The ATEG program pairs one sponsor with one child. However the benefits of sponsorship reverberate throughout the entire community. Some of these children have spent their entire lives living on the garbage dump. Yet, like children everywhere, they all have hopes and aspirations for their future. Support from people like you, can help these children realize their potential. Through sponsorship, you will be along on that powerful journey.
