The Second Annual Global Citizenship Music Festival will present music from many cultures, with performances by musicians bringing their talents to New Bern from Africa, Asia and Latin America. There will also be a performance by a community choir composed of singers from many local churches. People from all backgrounds in our community will gather to sing and dance together. Music has the power to bring people together and bridge cultural divides in a way that very few things can. It can transcend language barriers and connect people from different backgrounds and cultures through a universal language. The event emcee will be Valentina Wilson.

This event is a benefit to support Arts To End Genocide (ATEG) programs helping marginalized women and children in Africa. 

The Global Citizenship Music Festival will be held at Union Point Park on Saturday May 17, 2025, from 3:00-8:00 PM.
